Last Saturday I arrived to BCG with my daughter’s car with a problem that I hadn’t been able to resolve with other mechanics. The car was not accelerating from time to time. All warning lights were lit up on the dashboard. Effie looked at it and gave me the two possibilities for the problem.He was right. He gave me a fair estimate of the cost and took care of the problem very quickly and efficiently. We had multiple problems while traveling with our Subaru from Montana and found BCG via great google reviews. I called and Effie answered. He was very knowledgeable, honest and a really nice guy. He even welcomed me to call him after hours, if needed, as he knew we were in a bind with scheduled travel. He’s been at it for 47 years and clearly loves his work and business. His pricing was half of what a nearby Subaru dealer quoted us. Thanks Effie!
Effie’s service is ALWAYS amazing, professional, and thorough. I don’t go to my dealership for any of my car services, instead I trust Effie’s and his team to work on my lease. From replacing brakes, to oil changes, or any other car trouble you are having Effie is the mechanic to see! My family and I have been going to Effie for years and will continue to. He’s reliable, honest, ethical, and reasonable!
A month or two back, I was having some trouble with my wheels, specifically two ball joints on both my front tires, and my control arm on my front passenger side, I was doing some research on pricing on tires and repair, and then I came to Effie, not only did he do it quickly, but he gave me an incredible price compared to what is shown in the rest of the market, replacing my front tires and my ball joints.
My car's brake pad and battery warning came on and I stopped by Effie's shop to get a quote since I live in the area. Had an itemized quote within 5-minutes with a price I was happy with. Made the appointment for the car repair morning off. Dropped my car off at 7:30am and by 12:30pm the car was ready. Throughout the process Effie got back to me right away and answered any questions I had. He fixed the problems I had and did not try to upsell me on any work that the car doesn't need.
