I visited BCF Launceston today for the first time and I have to say it was one of the best retail experiences I’ve ever had. The lovely lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She greeted me and my wife with such warmth and made us feel genuinely comfortable and welcomed from the moment we walked in. Do not rely on going here for a gas bottle refill! We went in today and asked for a gas bottle refill, were told that it would be about 20 mins as the only employee who could do gas refills was helping another customer. We agreed to wait. 15 minutes later the gas bottle filler employee appeared and said he was now available to help customers, but had been told not to do any gas refills within 10 minutes of the end of his shift (no explanation of why this was the case - this was at 3.50pm, store apparently closes at 5.30pm). ... read more
Recently went to BCf Launceston we bought quite a few items one of which was a Penn fishing rod didn't notice till we got home we were charged $10 MORE for the rod than what was stated on the ticket price. Doubt we will ever go back there. Very disappointed.
