Started a job in November. PM has been great, superintendent; really helpful. The problem like others have mentioned is long delays in paying subs. Im currently 71 plus on $225,000.00 and have waited over 100 days for just partial payment. They argue that they are a “high risk” company and DO NOT pay subs directly so they can blame the customer for delay of payment. It has created a mess for me and my vendors. That and 10 percent retention I HIGHLY SUGGEST staying a country mile away from BCCM. Its not worth it AT ALL.
Be cautious!! BCCM is overdue invoiced in November. We completed a job, superintendent was extremely happy, we worked directly with PM to make sure she had exactly what was needed. As soon as we sent an email to contact them for payment through accounting, and project manager, emails were not returned, voicemails were full, and no one answered the main line.
Pays subs on a very delayed pay schedule. The schedule of when they feel like it. 120+ days to receive payments. We have completed 4 jobs with them and it was always the same issue. We just received retainage on the last couple and they have been open going on a year. Only reason we believe we received those payments is because a lawyer from BCCMs customer was having complaints of subs not being paid, but they had paid BCCM, and that leins were in process of being placed on the jobs. DO NOT WORK FOR BCCM
Great company to work with
I do not recommend working with this company. They are extremely slow to pay. Currently we are at 120 days past due. They do not return/reply to messages or VM. When you do finally get ahold of someone in accounting, they are very vague with their answers. Our project manager left the company after the project was completed, so I was directed to new PM who did nothing to help us. We will never do another project for this business again.
