Very poor experience with BCBS of IL. The automated voice system is obnoxious and the customer service routinely is mediocre at best. My main complaint, however, is how the online portal that displays your current deductible and out of pocket can be outright inaccurate. For example, on July 24th 2025 I saw that my deductible was fully met and my out of pocket had $157.28 remaining (I have a screenshot to prove it). This is the worse health insurance I’ve ever had , first they make you try out other cheaper drugs then when it’s time to try the one you prefer they deny you as if it’s they money they spending out of pocket, blue cross blue shield needs a serious deep deep investigation done on them because something’s going on , no one I’ve told about this has anything nice to say about this garbage health insurance , seriously they needs to be looked into

10 years and I have to make 5 calls for every appointment to prove I have insurance. This company blows! No help, no one looked into it. They don’t care and won’t change.
