I've been to this BCAA location a few times this year for both renter's and car insurance. I had to go through the process of temporarily importing a car from the U.S., which was pretty complicated, but the staff here were really helpful and made it go smoothly. Everyone I dealt with was vert helpful and knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for insurance
rude, dismissive and unhelpful staff. Went to BCAA as a member but staff supposed to be assisting barely engaged and no empathy for someone who is neurodivergent and brought an advocate. Completely discriminatory.
My daughter and I went to BCAA in Yaletown. A sales agent was by the entrance and I smiled and said hello, but she didn’t smile or respond. When I mentioned we were there to renew our car insurance, she asked if we had a photo of the odometer. I said yes, and tried to show her the insurance renewal notice from ICBC. She dismissed it and said, “I only need to see your driver’s license if you’re the primary driver.” We were there for only a few minutes and were asking simple valid questions/confirmations.
