Waited on hold for 5+ mins hoping for answers to my questions. The person I spoke with clearly did not know anything about International Drivers Permits.. within the 5+ mins of waiting I was able to find enough information on Google to help myself… so I gave up waiting and ended the call. However, I definitely travelled to my destination with nerves about my car rental. Why offer services if the employees cannot answer simple questions?
I have just been refused house insurance by BCAA because my daughter, who lives in Nova Scotia, is to be on title together with me for succession purposes. My daughter is a Canadian Citizen and retired Police Officer, and BCAA doesn't like that she lives in a different province.

I've paid for a BCAA roadside assistance membership for about 8 years now. I've used it twice. The first was a good experience. The second was horrible. I waited over an hour beyond the expected assistance time and ended up cancelling the request because I couldn't continue to wait. I like the idea of roadside assistance, but if they can't actually come through with it then what am I paying for?
