I gave birth here and was amazed by how professional and kind they are. My baby saw this hospital twice, once we stayed at a renovated and nice part named Cedar, and another time in a shabby and uncomfortable part, Dogwood. I’ll share some pictures:

Bc women’s hospital you are the best🫶🏻❤️ I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire hospital staff. I spent two weeks with you before and after giving birth, and throughout that time I was surrounded by kindness, care, and compassion. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member treated me with so much warmth and patience that I truly felt like my family was beside me. I am writing to share a deeply distressing experience with the doctor on duty during the evening of May 20, 2026. After waiting for 3.5 hours and being prepared for induction, the doctor informed us that she was tired and emotionally exhausted. She then suggested we transfer to another hospital — without arranging or offering an ambulance — and repeatedly implied, through both her words and demeanor, that we would not receive adequate care if we remained. I can’t go into detail on what BC Women’s Hospital has done to me on this public review, but they’ve received my emails. Crushed my soul, destroyed my physical and mental health. Frequent flashbacks from heinous mismanagement and misdiagnosis of my conditions to the point where I have to see a psychologist.
