No where for customers to park, don't take cash, making mistakes with billing just an all around terrible company
So I don’t know their names but a huge shout out of thanks to the 2 guys who came out to my house in Cedar (Nanaimo) today. A crow blew our transformer and I work from home and had no power. These guys arrived in under an hour of the actual time of the incident and had me up and running within minutes. You guys are awesome thank you so much!!!!!
Great service both times that I called , hydro was switched back on within minutes the first time , very kind operators, the second time the girl helped me avoid paying a very high deposit fee by checking the credit , the option I didn’t know I had so very kind indeed . Thank you
I’ve watched something interesting today while waiting for power to come back. In an event where power is cut out, BC Hydro prioritizes the rich, leaving population centers like the yellow point reserve with over 2500 households with no power, but they’ve prioritized a small community of 500. Also skipping Ladysmith leaving many elderly(and us) with no power for 24+hrs. Access is not an issue, there are plenty of roads to reach these areas, but have been bypassed to help high wealth neighborhoods such as saltair.
