By far the worst utility company I’ve ever encountered. All day power outages every month. We live quite remote so there’s no option but to deal with these clowns. Call and complain, they don’t care. Horrible and vile company.
I did call Vernon Hydro. Talk to a very nice lady named Krista, I made my complaints and she was very awesome to deal with. The reason I called is that I live in the devil's triangle. It literally affects over 1100 people and yet they can't keep the power on for more than 6 months at a time. I'm very disappointed with them. After 6 years we consistently still have the same problem. I did call to ask for a call back to see if we could have this problem solved. Horrible. We heard a loud bang and then the power went out. 7hrs without power now and no sign of a repair crew even though the website says a crew was dispatched and the estimated time of the crew to be onsite was 6hrs ago. Ridiculous. BC Hydro powers our pump house. No power means no water. We can't live without water obviously. Liars.
Rob in customer service was very friendly. He was able to answer all of my questions in a very timely and respectful manner! Get this man a raise! Thank you!!
