I believe I found the right place to well manage my 30+ yrs of diabetes. The doctor(s), assistants and staff are all friendly and very helpful to me. Upon learning of my diabetes history, they immediately prescribed the CGM sensors, changed my prescriptions of some 10+years. These measurs had immediate impact to my better management of glucose levels. My case manager Mira followed through my monitoring for two weeks (!), and made timely adjustments to the prescriptions. After receiving the worst experience with the monitor and my prescription for ozempic I expressed my points of view and asked what it is they actually do to help us. She hung up the phone. She could not deal with my questions or comments like an adult. Here was my question; tell me what is it you are actually doing for us. Phone went dead. Completely unprofessional.
I had a deeply disappointing experience during my recent visit. Although I arrived five minutes late, this was repeatedly brought up throughout the appointment and seemed to overshadow the entire interaction. From the beginning, I felt more like I was being lectured than cared for. 57 years of being a type 1 diabetic and in very good health. This is the WORST medical care I have ever experienced. I followed my doctor that moved to this clinic. Extremely good endocrinologist and also type 1 so complete understanding of this disease. I now deal 95 percent with a person who is not a doctor and then get a random doctor that treats me like this is my 1st day of having this. I could not possibly recommend this clinic. It is the fast food drive thru of medical care.
