Im a veteran with severe PTSD. I am currently stable in my treatment, however new places and something as intimate as a mammogram set me off. I'd like to thank the staff, from receptionist to mammogram technician, for a safe and quick experience. If I need to self identify I do, but it wasnt needed. And I was able to manage my appointment with grace.
DON’T COME here for mammogram. This technician was savage with the x-ray machine. Won’t get into too much detail, but it was the most painful experience I’ve ever had and I ended up getting a bruise on my left breast. When I was voicing the agonizing pain as my flesh was helplessly pressed so hard against the panel, she didn’t even apologize but also was kinda smiling, which was quite chilling and humiliating experience. This team is super efficient I was in and out in under 11 minutes! It took me an hour to drive here and will take me an hour and half to drive home. I paid for one hour and half parking but was so surprised to be finished so quickly
My doctor sent a request for mamogram the beginning of the year. I am a Breast cancer survivor. I was expecting for an appointment but if I haven’t call the office I would not know that I should have an ultrasound. They made an appointment for 9th of August.just two days after I called. If I didn’t call when would they sent me the appointment? It seems that our system is not working anymore.
