I fell and broke my hip in the early evening of June 11th (2025). The pain was excruciating; my partner called 911. The ambulance crew, Keagan, Max and Gabe arrived a bit late because they were driving from Penticton and apologized for taking so long to get to Summerland. It wasn't for an emergency but I just wanted to bring some cupcakes for them, sadly I don't remember their names, but they were the sweetest ever. They gave me a tour, showed me their truck and equipment, and when i mentioned that i want to become a paramedic myself we just talked for a while after and they gave me some really awesome advice. Overall an awesome experience and if I was in an energency situation I would trust them with my life.
I am 100% confident in our ambulance service but for Pete’s sake replace the flag in front of your building. Being at the dentist is stressful enough without staring out the window at that tattered flag. It’s depressing and a bit disrespectful. Thank you!
