BB&T is the worst bank ever. No one returns your calls, they don't care about you or your concerns, treats you like you are bothering them. Ask for help and get nothing. They are nothing like Susquannha at all...… And I am stuck with this bank for a long line. Even got screw with my mortgage with them took full advantage and tried reporting this and no one called me. My “personal banker” has never once returned a single phone call or email. Horrible.
I opened an account ONLINE a few years ago & barely used it. When I tried to close it over the phone, they said there was no way to close it electronically, but I had to come in to a local bank. When I showed up, the hours given by the customer service rep were different than the bank hours, so I wasted my time for nothing. I can't believe this bank will let you open an account online, but not let you close it online.
