This branch is terrible. No one seems to know what they're doing or talking about. Right when I walked in, I was given poor customer service. I wanted to know whether I could upgrade my secured credit card without having to put in an application and was told that I couldn't. After hearing that, I responded by saying that it was alright and that I wanted to close my secured card because it had an annual fee and I already had three unsecured cards for almost half a year, two of which have limits over 5000 dollars. After 5 years of making a monthly deposit to my grandson's account, the staff at this branch refused to accept my cash ($200) deposit to his account. They asserted that it was a new BB&T policy to NOT accept cash deposits to someone else's account. I was told to go buy a money order and they would accept that. This is NOT good customer service. Right now, BB&T is the only bank with ATM's on his campus. I plan to write to his school, describe this absurd "policy," and advocate for contracting with a different bank. No more bu... read more
