I have been a SunTrust customer for 20+ years and had never had a problem. Today at Truist in Salem, VA we tried to deposit a couple hundred dollars cash, using an official SunTrust deposit slip that was provided with our checks at the drive thru, we were then told we must provid an official government ID!!!!! We will be moving all of our accounts from this joke of a bank!

I had this bank for 3 years , was good till they merged now they are rude , customer service sucks ATM never works and u can't deposit in atm now. I switched banks way better now
