After taking my X3 in for a check engine light, a leak was discovered in my right passenger floorboard. This was diagnosed as algae in the sunroof track. I was told it was fixed for the price of $182.00. This was not fixed! A few months later I returned X3 due to water in the floorboard and was told the algae problem was back again and that a lot of BMW’s were having this same issue.
