Learned from Gemini that Santa Maria is famous about its BBQ so I randomly picked one from Google. Surprisingly it’s tasted and at very good price!
First off, they had paper menus on the counter and when the girl rang up what we ordered, she charged us 10 or $15 more and when I questioned her about this, she said that the prices on the paper menus on the counter with old prices Feel like we got scammed !
I know there's not any, but I swear there's crack in the food. Honestly, I think it's the red oak. I absolutely despise the Central Coast and its obsession with tri-tip sandwiches, but something about barbecue land and their tri-tip hits just the right spot. Seriously, the tri-tip sandwich with a side of coleslaw and french fries is my go-to order and I wouldn't change it for the world. I just wish they were a little more consistent with portion size. Sometimes I get one or two slices of tri-tip, sometimes it's three.
BBQ LAND has been my go to for santa maria bbq. Ive been going here since high-school days and I'm now 38 married with 2 kids. This place never disappoints. They have a mix of bbq meats, burgers and korean food. My go to has always been 1 piece leg quarter with beans, rice, garlic bread and kimchi! I CANNOT stop raving about this place.
