The food here is expensive(to me) but delicious and definitely worth it. Building has cute decor and a small parking lot outside.Â
Me and my friend went out for an evening of chicken and friendship as we sit down he(the guy at the register)automatically kind of give us a little bit of a tude. Off jump that rubbed me the wrong way so I’m just trying to wait for my food and Enjoy it. Chicken is kind of soggy. It’s not as crispy as I wanted it to be and kinda has a squishy inside feel. Ewww 2/10Â
Bb.q chicken is insanely delicious and a place we’ve gone back to over the years. I’m glad there’s one in Richmond now. Their secret sauce is the BEST. But like other Bb.q chickens, their quality is a bit inconsistent (meat toughness, if it’s cooked thoroughly or dry, freshness of fry). Which is generally understandable and perhaps is an indicator of it not being default frozen food a la fast food, but it is NOT a cheap meal so it is a bit disappointment when like 2/3 times it’s excellent and 1/3 times it’s just okay.Â
bb.q Chicken Carytown has a 4.2 star rating with 362 reviews.Â
