Our mom moved to Baywoods in April 2026. It is deeply reassuring to know she is surrounded by a caring staff, along with a welcoming community of friends and neighbors. Special thanks to Jim Harrington. He connects with the residents, engaging with them personally to ensure they feel valued.
As residents for 2+ years, my wife and I have been extremelly happy with our life at BayWoods. Our apartment fully meets our needs, the food is very good, the views of the Bay and the local walking trails are nice, and the camaraderie has made it a pleasure to live here. Because BayWoods is a smaller continuing care facility, we have been able to learn the names of most of the residents. This leads to a family type atmosphere. This is a reflection on my nineteen years at BayWoods. Carol and I were in our 60’s when we moved in. Friends asked why we moved at that age. There were two answers. One response was that we enjoy living in a resort. The longer answer is long-range planning.
