On 2 March 2025, I took my Subaru in for servicing and was informed that the front lower control arm bushes needed replacement. Bayswater did a great job with the repair, and while the price was slightly higher than a regular service centre, I understand that’s expected from a dealer workshop. Over priced second hand trade in vehicles,,unfortunately i was in wellington when he purchased it with his mother. After issues etc with the ute he ended up losing 11k in depreciation in 1.5 years of owning tough lesson for 19 year old on apprenticeship wage. It had chassis rust,terrible respray,cracked indicator lense and the gear box which was manual was on its way out. Do your due diligence from my son's lesson
Been good service so far, when getting a service there are no surprises they make you aware of any extra repairs that are needed and check in with you before proceeding.

Had a cambelt changed by these guys a few years ago, water pump has since failed as they do not include in the 100k service (which i was unaware of) although the water pump was on the quote. i feel this is a drastically poor decision on Subaru's as they are difficult to access. Furthermore when shown the issuing noise identified it as an a/c pump without, im assuming. removing the belts and tried to charge $1900 for a repair. Do you trust your water pump to last 200,000kms, whats $300 on a $2700 cambelt replacement. Poor dia... read more
