Great location, but... – Quaint outdoor seating and beautiful views of the ocean were spoiled by lousy service. I have visited Bayside on 4 occasions, and July 5, 2010 was when I finally smartened up and simply walked out after waiting 40 minutes for a cup of chowder and a stuffed quahog. And the servers' attitudes were no better. Never again. The fried clams were on the greasy side, but I have had worse. The eggplant fries are nice, but the fish is ov-battered. Don't bother with the sandwiches or the watered-down cocktails.
What a View! – This place has one of my favorite views in the world, and a great deck to take it in from. This is a wonderful family restaurant, run by a great family! The owners are serious about social, and environmental issues, and take pride in their "Green" status. Nice menu, and daily specials, with desserts that I can testify are written home about, from the other side of the world! Strawberry Rhubarb Pie...
