I cannot speak highly enough of the entire team at this clinic. I was terrified about having pterygium surgery, but I was fortunate to be treated by the incredibly skilled Dr Georgia Cleary. Surely you can improve your system so that there isn’t a 3+ hour wait time before you’re seen by a specialist. Making people wait that long despite them spending thousands trying to take care of their eye health isn’t right. Especially, (in my partner’s case), when it’s usually not good news, so it’s very stressful and anxiety inducing. Because the wait is so long, it means that most families wouldn’t be able to provide moral support in these situations due to work or family commitments. Not a good experience - no fee estimate provided before appt - hour wait to be seen - didn’t upload tests from referring optometrist (the reason I was there!) - charged $165 for a test that the optometrist includes in the bulk billed appointment It’s a business not a medical practice 🙁
