I contacted Bayside Community Legal Service for help with a vehicle registered in my name but financed under my ex-partner’s name, connected to domestic and financial abuse. The program coordinator, Julianne, spoke down to me and showed no compassion or trauma-informed understanding. She asked six times about a property settlement I wasn’t seeking and left me confused, distressed, and in tears. Agreed called twice, very rude receptionist. The service advertises availability of appointments and support services, but can't get passed the receptionist.
