We reached out to Kristy during an incredibly overwhelming time - I was in extreme pain from poor technique and had very little understanding of breastfeeding. Despite being on holiday, Kristy went out of her way to support us and offered telehealth sessions straight away, which made such a huge difference when we were really struggling. We got in touch with Kristy after seeing another lactation consultant but my partner continued to struggle with comfortable breastfeeding. I was really struggling to get my baby to sleep in the cot until I met Kristy. She arranged a home visit quickly, which I really appreciated. Before working with Kristy, we were waking 4–6 times a night with our 6 month old and every day felt like survival mode.
