Robin is right dr hunt is not a good vet he's judgemental and only takes people that are wealthy! My vet said the same thing to me that he is not a good veterinarian!
I had an emergency for my dog over the holiday weekend. I reached out to Bayshore and Dr Tim was super helpful! We were traveling from Wisconsin and he was able to help us over the phone to ensure my dog was safe! Thank you Dr Tim for helping in a very stressful situation if I was local to your area, your practice would be the vet I’d choose!
I brought my dog in fo opened wound with puss coming out so dr. Hunt turned me away and "said",if he had guts hanging out then he would but he is all about politics he said. Horrible just Horrible all because I was not a patience there.and I actually said my fiance jeff libby is a patient there and I said that to him so what's your excuse now?
We were passing through while camping in The U.P. Our dog was under the care of our Vet in Detroit area. He took a turn and developed an infection under his neck. Very swollen around his airway. We were very concerned . The 1st vet just up the street could not work us in, nor even have a look or triage if we could make the 7 hour drive home. We took a chance on the next vet. I dropped an ibuprofen tablet and my small dog picked it up and ate it (I thought). Dr. Tim was fantastic! Explained how to make him throw it up. As it turned out I couldn’t find the tablet in his vomit. Dr. Tim explained the next steps, suggesting I look around closer. Turns out it went under the refrigerator. Dr. Tim called back a couple of times.
