I am a long-time client of Bayshore Vet/Dr. Tim and while I should have weighed in long ago here goes: He recently referred my 4-year old GSP Gabby to Madison Veterinary Specialists for a probable insulinoma, a type of pancreatic cancer that causes the pancreas to produce excessive insulin which leads to dangerously low blood sugar. Took care of my dogs when no one else would, contacted my vet at the time and they refused to see my dog, with symptoms like coughing hacking heavy breathing vomiting, etc…. Called all over Marquette area and EVERYONE was booked up and refused to help, I finally contacted Bayshore and told them the same symptoms I told all the rest, they said bring her in immediately we will do bloodwork, X-rays, etc…. My cat, Willy, had an emergent urinary blockage on a Saturday & it was also a holiday weekend. I decided to try calling Bayshore on a whim when I saw on their website that they had emergency care 24/7 - otherwise it was off to Blue Pearl in Appleton which is over 2.5 hrs away from me. Dr. Hurley called me back within minutes and after listening to me panic, said bring him in.
