High rates and hidden fees for the machines they use to do the work. Hourly rate is $245, and rate does not include the cost of the machine used ($60) to unclog bathroom drain. $427 total to unclog a drain in 1.5 hours. These plumbers work very hard, however -- a machine fee ON TOP of a $245/hour rate is wild.
$425 to have someone snake a shower drain. What a joke.
Jeremy came out to assess some issues we were having with the kitchen sink and our lack of consistent hot water. He was able to fix the kitchen sink and diagnose our water heater issue very quickly. Very responsive to all of my questions about future work + install of water softener. He is definitely a very straightforward genuine guy, he is not trying to sell you stuff you don’t need. Definitely recommend him!
Business began from a referral, initial interaction was great. We brought Bayshore Plumbing in to replace a chlorinator for our well system after our other one stopped working and replacement parts could not be located. They researched and found another chlorinator, and in September replaced and we thought everything was good as we had a 1 year warranty. The receptionist or whoever that makes appointments wasn’t even friendly enough to speak or give advice to me. She kept interrupting me and dismissed me. I had tried to be as helpful as possible by offering my landlords number since she couldn’t ’speak’ to me - so we could get the ball rolling , as I’ve had no HOT water for a week with a 15month baby at home.
