Our doctors, Julie Saarm-Greimel and Matthew Greimel, received their veterinary medical degrees from Michigan State University in 1997. After graduation, they practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Aspiring to own a companion animal practice in northern Michigan, they moved north, and provided relief veterinary services in Northern Michigan while their hospital was being designed and built. The two veterinarians at Bayshore (a husband and wife team) are as good as they come! They are extremely qualified, very personable and communicate well. I spent 48 years taking my dogs to the top vet school clinic in the world, which is at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. because I was a Cornell professor. We now live in Charlevoix, and the Bayshore Clinic is just as super. Dr. Jim Maas
