We'd been coming to bayou for years and were bummed when they closed down. This was our first time back to bayou since they re-opened under new ownership. We'd heard that the food was even better than before and came in for brunch on a Sunday. All of the buzz about the food was on point. The food was delicious! Original owner retired and it's under new management. We went on a Saturday and the place was empty. I really miss the old vibe, it just feels different now. Menu is different, no more happy hour. I googled some of the drama around the new owner and some controversial right wing posts. Why would you name your LLC "Rock and Rye" and not be affiliated with the Oyster house?
