Long time customer of Bayou Grill here. Food is good, service good as well. My issue is with the Sunday brunch. I spoke with someone a few weeks ago, and the brunch was still being served. The website confirms this. I arrived yesterday, hostess said brunch was being served. Once seated, I find that brunch was discontinued as it was too expensive. I get that they lost money, so it was cancelled. Shouldn't brunch be removed from the website, posted on the door, or on Facebook? Breakfast was good, but no toast or potatoes with ... read more

This place used to be good. Now the menue has changed and the menu says Smokehouse now.I was told by an employee that it's being rebranded by the owner.I ordered the catfish over rice. The catfish and sauce was good but alot of the rice was burned to the point it was to hard and crunchy to eat.How could anyone even serve that!If they keep serving food like that, that place will be closed in no time.

Worst meal I ever had. The owner/management change is definitely apparent! This place used to be a rave but we went on a Sunday evening and only a few guests were there. Now I know why. I had the pick 2 and chose ribs and alligator. The ribs were small burnt and tough with no meat on them. They also had some kindoff extremely salty rub on them which was also burnt up. The colslaw and smashed potatoes also had a terrible taste and flavor. The alligator was ok but tough as well and a small portion. The 2 drinks I tried were no... read more

This used to be our favorite spot to eat. The portions are really small now. We can see why this place is empty on a Sunday. The pick 2 was ribs, and 3 strips of brisket. We used to love the Alligator. However, the appetizer had only 8 pieces now with no sauce. It's sad, but I see this place closing down soon. The menu is a new smokehouse menu, and some of the signature items are gone. Like crawfish etoufee, jambalaya, and dirty rice. They need to change the name to a smokehouse and not Bayou Grill.
