Well it looks like things have NOT changed. I had a cat emergency over 15 years ago and wish there were reviews to read back then. Before the cat was seen I was forced to apply for an extremely high percetage credit card account. Then after the cat was seen, was told by vet that he would have to take cat to his regular office in Thibodaux to further treat him. I agreed. I had to take my cat here for an emergency visit, I didn’t see the bad reviews until after because of how frantic I was. Honestly with my 100% opinion I don’t think this place is as bad as everyone is saying the guy did tell us front to just get her in would be 300 which I do understand why he told us that because some people do complain and don’t have the money so you know what would you do in that situation if you bring your pet and couldn’t be able to pay. Just avoid! My mother was having an emergency with her dog and the first thing he said was FIRST of all it'll be $300 just to come in AND you have to have the card on your person. SO YOURE TELLING ME in THIS day and age I CANT PAY OVER THE PHONE!!?? I live out of state and don't want anything to happen to her baby. It's just rude to hold prices over people like this. WE ALL KNOW EMERGENCY VET CARE IS EXPENSIVE AND WE WILL GLADLY PAY IT!!!

I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about because my experience was 5 ⭐️. First off my usual vets office was closed and EVERY OTHER CLINIC AROUND ‘wasn’t accepting new clients’. I was hesitant bc of the bad reviews but my cat was dying so I called. The dr wasn’t at his office (it was a Saturday) but showed up very promptly and was professional and sympathetic.
