I ordered 2 vanilla iced coffees with a splash of half and half and got these when my order came out. Paying 16 dollars for this is diabolical. The whole drink was just half and half.
The beignets were fluffy and melted in your mouth. The Virginia style biscuit and gravy is also definitely a winner. The biscuit was not soggy with the gravy overtop, and the gravy itself was flavorful and had a good texture. The Bayou Bloody Mary with shrimp and bacon was just ok. I went back a week later and had the roasted pecan and brown butter pecan waffle that was perfect with a nice crunch on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. Really good food and really good prices for the area
09/04 12:18pm Went for lunch. Checked the pastries. The sliding display door was wide open. I checked and noticed flies ALL over the pastries. They didn't close the doors, they didn't check the pastries, they didn't do anything to protect the food. I told the guy infront of me that the blueberry pastry he chose, the one in the picture, had flies and that might want to get a refund.
