Rip off This is a rip off. They tell you up front that it will cost $40 for the visit. When they get there, they tell you it will cost $165 for the diagnostics. Any repairs will be on top of that. When I heard that, I told the guy to leave. The last electrician I used charged me $85 for the visit and the repair. Do yourself a favor and find someone who charges by the hour.
