The room was nasty and the hallways and office stunk. But the service was nice but they forgot to tell the maid that we had a late checkout.

I booked this hotel because It was "seemingly" an okay deal, as I trusted that it was part of the Wyndham family of hotels. I needed a hotel for coming into town for a death in the family. After a very long, nearly 6 hour drive we arrived very late into the evening, checked in & even upon closing the door, we saw that the security deadbolt was not there, the door would not close properly & we had to turn the security lock just to keep the door shut! At first was confusing to find the hotel. The hotel have like 3 names. Ormond Beach inn, Bayfront and Comfort Suits… but this is no Comfort Suits. The hotel smells as soon and you walk in. The man at the front desk did his job and no complaints there. But the hotel have some damaged areas. Missing tiles and no so clean walk ways. But the real problem was the room. This is an inexpensive motel surrounded by much more expensive motels. The hallways had a stale odor. Room was outdated, but clean. Overall, it was a very good choice for us. We would stay here again.
