One day we had 6 police cars all swarming the hotel arresting someone. Then there was someone who looked like he was sleeping in the stairs. Also, when going to check out, the person at the front desk wasn't there, so when I hit the bell, he came out of the workout room drenched in sweat. I then saw him open up the breakfast room without showering or anything beforehand.
The bathroom door looked as if it was kicked in and because their maintenance crew installed a curved shower bar on a straight tub the door has been smashed against it a thousand times. They charged me 100 for damages and have not even returned my phone calls. I will be contacting the state office as well as corporate and the bbb for this scam they run across the country. The room itself was okay and the mattress wasn’t too bad, so sleeping was fine. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff took away from the stay. The person working the desk came across as condescending at times, which made interactions uncomfortable. We had a pet fee set up with our original reservation, but due to our flight being canceled we called ahead to let the hotel know we would be arriving one day late. Young man at reception was nice. Facility was disgusting and unacceptable. Will never stay at a Baymont again or recommend to anyone.
