The room we got this time had a constantly running toilet and smelled awful. It has been raining for several days, maybe it was that, but wow... It was bad. We are told there was no other rooms to move us to, and although I asked to hear from a manager, I never did. Not impressed. Breakfast is always great, I will say. But I don't think I'd risk staying there again, not paying full price for a noisy, stinky room again. The bathroom at least had not been cleaned, and the outlets... Not even sure what was happening there
I am a local and needed a place to stay during a local move. The Baymont by Wyndham Culpeper was terrific! The rooms (ask for this, not all are) are newly renovated with a nice bathroom, vanity, refrigerator, microwave, coffee in the room. There is a lovely pool. Fabulous free breakfast. The people are really, really nice and helpful. Even by Culpeper standards. I highly recommend The Baymont!
While I initially booked this stay with optimism based on positive reviews, our experience quickly revealed that the conditions at this property were far below reasonable expectations for a safe, clean, and comfortable stay. We arrived around 6:00 p.m. on June 24 for what was supposed to be a four-night stay. One of our usual stays when in the area. Nice to see the renovations. Our room was brand new and fresh. The cleaning staff was extremely accommodating and super friendly. The area is conveniently located to many destinations and is nicely quiet. The bed was comfortable and the video offerings were perfect. 2 notes of interest for the Baymont: 1.
