On Oct 17, 2022, we took our 4-year-old son to the Emergency room at Baylor Surgical Hospital at Las Colinas with severe vomiting because his pediatrician was not available that day. Doctor Vinh T Mai was apologetic from the get-go. He was very uncomfortable looking at our son and said he was not a pediatrician. i spoke to keylee financial advisor who was very rude from the beginning of the call that later turned discriminating i was calling on quotes for a surgery and instead of advising financially she proceeds to tell me this is not parkland..i know where i called and she gave zero options for me only to put us down..i do have the call recorded thank god bc im at work i will be taking this all the way to the top discrimination is NOT ok..and due to her i WILL NOT be using your facility for my surgery or referring u at all
I am scheduled for surgery on the 14th of January. I went in for pre op today and have been stressing and freaking out since I found out I would be having surgery somewhere I’ve never been. I absolutely loved the people who worked with me today and I’ve never felt so comfortable in a hospital environment. Junior, who took my blood was amazing! Impressive! My expectations were exceeded. From registering yesterday to the next day, it has been flawless. My wife and family updated timely and the staff, nurses, and doctors are top notch (professional, friendly, prompt, & highly skilled). I am lucky my surgeon practices here.
