Just so everyone knows the way that insurance works is when a family out of pocket maximum is met the entire family on that plan gets healthcare with further out of pocket costs (beyond premiums) for the remainder of the plan year. It does not matter whether each individual has met their out of pocket maximum or not. You cannot trust what the pharmacy technicians or the pharmacist tell you.
