Signed up for BSW through marketplace; paid the fees and then was cancelled without notice 60 days later. No snail mail, no emails, no texts and no phone calls from BSW health. My wife and daughter had several appointments during this period and was never informed about this from staff. After receiving a high bill from BSW, we called and then were informed of the cancellation 3 months prior. Absolutely no help.....
I signed up over 30 days ago and still don't have an insurance card. They took my money the day I signed up. Their website says I don't exist / can't log into a portal. I called the insurance department and someone gave me a number so it looks like I have a plan but I've never received confirmation. Just a bill. That I had already paid. These people do not care about the well being of there clients! I suggest getting insurance elsewhere! They are rude and are really quick to take your money but deny clients refunds when they are in the wrong!!!!! We have been members since 2024 and they terminated our insurance for no reason at all!!!!
A few short months ago, this review would have been a complete 5 stars. However, today I found out while my daughter was waiting to have some imaging of her thyroid that we could not get done unless we pay it all out of pocket which we can't. Her last set of yearly lab testing is indicating that there is an issue with her thyroid and blood cells. This insurance does not cover all medical conditions. They are selective and charge high prices. If you have epilepsy, this insurance is not going to cover it. They don't approve anything outside of their insurance. The Baylor Scott and White system has no epilepsy specialists, even though they list their neurologists as seizure doctors. Lakeway and Marble falls area especially, have run their neurologists away multiple times.
