This is to express appreciation for the extra time and effort MELISSA, at the front desk Neurology Dept., Floor 9-A took to help William Gilchrist reshedule his physical therapy after having to delay due to an accident. MELISSA followed through so that he was able to leave Baylor with the new prescription while was still there at another appointment. She went beyond the usual and her effort and pleasantness was special and very much appreciated!
I have been seeing Dr. Karl Harris Echiverri, MD for a few years now. He is a very compassionate and listens to all my problems. When I need him he is fast to respond. He has given me hope and I highly recommend.
Treating physician was awesome, the rest of the place is a disorganized disaster. One excuse after another.
Just received a call today, 3/23, from Dr. Ashwin Viswanathan's assistant. She wanted to schedule a follow-up appointment with the Dr and ask if i could bring the MRI hard copy in. (MRI results were sent to them over a week ago via email, but, ok) I asked if we could do a video chat and if I could mail in my CD since they are so far away. She proceeds to tell that the appointment will be at the end of April. When I asked why it was so far away? It is Sunday and I’m very upset!!! I just canceled my Monday 8am appointment for 3/25/2024. I am being asked to pay $461 upon arrival when it clearly shows on my end that my PCP referred me. Baylor apparently doesn’t have the referral. I received an email that the referral was faxed and confirmed. I was approved for 4 visits by my insurance.
