Previous ownership prior to mid-2000s was great; new ownership is dismal and an insult to what having your car worked on should be. My family and I had used this auto shop for 20+ years and it's with great frustration and sadness that we are now seeking out a new garage for our repairs, etc. Bayleaf Tire & Auto is understaffed, inept insofar as their ability to communicate effectively to customers, as well as actually fixing my car. Absolute highway robbery! Shop, shop, shop other auto repair services first. As a business owner myself I expect everyone to make a buck but not to this extent. Parts are marked up sometimes over 100%, even more than luxury car dealerships. Compare part prices with dealers, auto repair shops and part stores and you will see. When choosing this repair shop, hold on to your wallet and your first born, unless you don't want either of them. HONEST RELIABLE & AFFORDABLE – Don't be FOOLED by FOOLS. The people who criticize one company are the ones who criticize EVERY company. They never have anything good to say about anyone. This company is one of the most honest auto repair shops around. I have a judgement against another vehicle place, who lied and cheated me out of money. I won't ever trust another place as much as I trust Bayleaf Auto.

BAYLEAF AUTO does it right, big or small. – I recently took my Northstar engine Cadillac to Bayleaf Auto Repair to have headgaskets changed. The repair requires the complete removal of the engine and transmission from the car, a job which most privately owned repair shops will not even touch. I consider myself a "carguy" and fairly knowlegable about cars and both owners Linda and Joe answered all my questions going into the job. Honesty is a hard trait to find, but my mechanic's got it! – I am a regular at Bayleaf and I always know that I am getting quality service. The technicians are very honest and helpful. When there is something wrong with my car, one of the tech's sit down with me and explain exactly what is wrong, and if the repairs are necessary. I have been to other repair shops and have not gotten the quality service that I have received at Bayleaf. Honest competant service with fair prices – My first dealings with this shop was for an intermittant problem with my pick up. Occassionally it would momentarily lose power and then go back to normal. I spent a fortune on the shotgun approach changing parts that might be bad and had several people look at it to no avail. I took a chance and tried here. They ran a diagnostics and found a bad oxygen sensor and changed it. It's been a few years and that problem has not returned. I've been taking both my vehicles there ever since... read more
