I have found virtually every Bayhealth facility - whether Dr's office Dover & Sussex, ER and hospital in Dover (haven't been to Sussex's), outpatient facilities to be uniformly professional and pleasant. The support staff is remarkably patient, polite, and helpful, I've found that they always make clear what they are doing - from verifying info on yr chart to taking vitals to performing a test, and they will repeat and re-explain when patients are hard of hearing. All the staff at Bayhealth surgery center have always been very courteous and supportive in their care of the patients!
The out patient surgery went rather well I must say. They kept everything right on schedule and everything turned out well. Wanna truly thank the prep team especially Lori the iv set up nurse as well as mrs.Brown the antithesis nurse for listening to me. As the first shot to relax you actually knocks me right out in 3 minutes or less so they waited till I got positioned on the table . The staff is wonderful here. Ive been twice and each time im treated as expected. From check in to check out,each staff member is efficient, down to earth while staying professional. I appreciate that. No sitting in a crowded waiting room all day or waiting 30 min to see the doctor after being called back to a room. Triage, doc or NP ,scheduler if needed and you're on your way with questions answered and feeling confident about your care.
