When you're the only "game" in town you can pretty much do what you want, or so they think. Patients have the right, under the law, to deny care! This office believes they are above the law and will "brow beat" a patient into doing what that patient doesn't want to do. Stand up for yourself if there comes a time when you feel treatment isn't in your best interest! Don't let them bully you as the staff in particular likes to do. I would say to stay away, but cancer patients have no choice, believe me, I've checked,
My brother was a patient and all they cared about was the visits and treatment. They didn’t seem to care how he was doing even after he stopped eating and lost over 50 pounds in 4 months. I begged them to put in a feeding tube but they didn’t listen. My brother died within 7 months of diagnosis. Not from his can but from malnutrition and dehydration.
OK now I see why they have the reviews that they currently have terrible communication SYLVIA that answers the phone gets attitude and sometimes even hangs up and claims it was a connection issue, but you didn’t call back because if you call from a different number after several attempts after the hangup and then call from a different number she picks up and you can hear her voice. She didn’t think it was you terrible take my business elsewhere. I’ve been waiting for weeks and weeks for them to get back to me waste of time.
Staff is friendly. But billing is terrible. They charge over $1,000 just to walk thru the doors and then another $986 for the Dr to spend 5 minutes with you. Over $900 for just FIVE MINUTES. The cost was NEVER disclosed. This pricing is obscene. I was seen for hematology..I canceled my follow up cause there was no way I can afford $2k for every single visit.
