I was looking for a primary care facility for an annual health checkup; and found this close to my home. At the time of the visit, I asked if there is any co-pay, and I was told by front desk team, that there is NO co-pay, because it is routine/annual preventive care, but that was not the case. We were not informed by the front desk team about this new patient cost of $275. A month after I got a bill for $275. I’ve been to this location a few times now and have been pleased with the staff and the clinicians have been excellent. As a healthcare professional, I would definitely recommend this office.
If going in for an annual physical, do not let them coerce you into discussing anything about yourself. They will take that as an opportunity to change your billing code to an 'office visit' so that your insurance will no longer cover all of it, and they can bill you twice. I was simply asked if I am currently on any prescriptions and by answering that question I am now on the hook for $230. Absolutely ridiculous.
The office staff was pleasant and efficient. I can’t say enough about how fantastic Dr. Gayathri Mohanachandran Pillai Geetha Devi! She took her time to talk about all of my concerns and spoke in depth about ways to improve my health that best works with my lifestyle.
Be careful with unnecessary lab orders suggested by your doctor. My insurance refused to pay for them since it’s not necessary. I spoke to Isabel from this office and she said there is nothing they can do about them.
