I saw Dr. Dervish for radiating leg pain, MRI showed 4 deteariated discs and herniated disc. He did 2 Injections unfortunately no relief. He suggested 2 more injections in the SI area.. When I went for my next round of injections he didn't even remember that he gave me injections 2 weeks prior. I am sorry but it takes 2 seconds to look at my chart before you see me. Dr. Dervish was professional, patient and knowledgeable. He took time to understand my situation and explain options. Very caring attitude and made it a priority to treat my issue. Highly recommend him!
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dervish’s since 2012, and I know all doctors have Success and Failure Stories, as they are NOT GOD! Just like their patients, they have good & bad days, and may not always seem to be as caring or polite as we want them to be. I, however, love Dr. Dervish for the Succesful RFA of my knees, as I live with Severe Osteoarthritis. The pain had left me miserable, and not as active as I Use to be. Dr. Dervish resolved both back (herniated disk) and knee pain issues. He seemed knowledgeable, yet easy to understand. Friendly and compassionate with some new ideas on how to reduce my pain...definitely recommend him!
Doctor Dervish was extremely rude and he seemed to have a very high threshold for my pain. I've heard from many people now (several of my friends work at Aurora) that he is difficult to deal with and has a reputation for not believing his patients. He's just all around arrogant and an incompetent doctor. My review - try someone else, there are a lot of good doctors out there. He's just not one of them.
