Bad work
The installers from BayCal showed up late and didn’t finish the job on time. They promised to come back the next day but never showed up. Very unreliable and frustrating to deal with.
When I called about the issues with my windows, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of fixing the problem, they made excuses. Once they got paid, it felt like they didn’t care anymore.
I hired BayCal Windows and Doors to replace several windows, but the installation was sloppy. One window doesn’t close properly, and another already has a draft coming through. For the cost, the workmanship was very disappointing.
This review is way overdue! Every now and then my husband asks if I’ve left a review for Julio, and I’m finally doing it lol. Earlier this year, Baycal replaced all 13 windows, sliding door, and the front door in our Hayward home, and we couldn’t be happier. Since it was a full house window and door replacement, I was really worried about the waterproofing being done right. It’s a big project for us, and I couldn’t imagine anything going wrong!
