I was a patient at this facility for a few weeks. I'm glad I don't have to live there. I can't disagree with anything previous interviewers have said. There are members of staff who do care about patients, but they're not the norm. This place is grossly understaffed, and call buttons often go unanswered. You don't want to be there if you can't walk and don't have relatives visiting regularly. Call lights are not answered in anything like a timely manner. Where to start? Sue, the receptionist is very rude. Barbara in the financial office or whatever title she claims to have that week, is rude. They try to bait you into keeping your parent there longer so they can get more money out of you. It took over an hour most days just to get two aides at the same time to put him to bed. The physical therapy staff was rude. Every time I went there, like clockwork, my dad was sitting at a table with two other patients being ignored. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. They are understaffed and do not care for patients that are declining properly. My mother couldn't eat and it took the staff 2 weeks before they bothered to look in her mouth and realize that she had thrush and couldnot eat. We asked that she be put on pureed food but they gave her chopped food instead. She lost 25 pounds in 2 weeks. When she needed to be seen by the doctor the first time he didn't show up and he finally came 2 weeks later. Another doctor should have been called... read more
