I had a negative experience at Bay State Emergency Veterinary Services. They performed abdominal surgery on my dog. His care thereafter went downhill. After he was discharged home with a swollen and red incision, I called them the very next morning to try to talk to the vet about this. This was the first of many responses of "We are overwhelmed and short-staffed", and, as a result, they said it would be "hours" before anyone could get back to me and that this would be a tech, not the vet.
