Really pleasant cleaning. Roxy was very gentle and explained everything she was doing and explained all of my dental charts as well.
My first dental experience in CA, it was horrible ever. My doctor was Zhang Xuyu. He kept advertising deep clean but not caring my primary dental issue. After cleaned the right half side, I raised my concern about the major issue again. It turned out that he did not even understand the issue correctly. Still insist deep clean the other half first, and fix some other minor issues and take care of my main concern at the end. I don’t trust this clinic. At my first visit, they started a regular cleaning but did not finish because my teeth were too sensitive. Even though the procedure was not completed, they still charged me the full amount. They also had me buy a mouth rinse for about $30 before the deep cleaning, but I only used it for a couple of days. It felt like a waste of money. At my next visit, they tried to sell me a night guard for $70. It felt more like marketing than patient care, so I declined. I have a patient here since 2021 and have only had positive experiences. If you are looking for a dental practice that makes sure you are comfortable from check in to check out and that takes ALL of your questions and concerns seriously, then I can't recommend Bay Star enough.
Roxie is a great dental hygienist. She is punctual, professional, and friendly. She is meticulous and efficient when cleaning and evaluating my teeth and mouth.
