We have Vudu this over the years We cannot understand how this building is not allowed to be a part of the new railroad line. The train platform that was original us not used. The building is not used Passengers now have to stand out doors away from the building. No cover. The people that have the museum are not pleasant for the people coming in for looking to see where to actually board the train.
This was my first time visiting this area. The historic train depot was cool with a lot of interesting historic facts I never knew about. The staff were friendly. The first floor showcased the mardi gras costumes, famous Black blues singers, the Spanish trail, the history of Mississippi from the 1700s through to hurricane Katrina. The work of Alice Mosely is housed here. She is a famous fold art painter. Her work is really inspiring. It's free admission Mon-Sat from 10a-4p.
