I took my kitten Bella to Bay Ridge Hospital she was very sick vomiting and unable to drink or eat . I was told that it was likely an obstruction in her abdomen or intestines that was causing her to be ill. This did not make sense to me because Bella was vomiting and dehydrated. RecommendedI called Bay Ridge on Saturday 12/26 because my pup was having problems walking on her left rear leg. Bonita was able to get right in even being a new patient. I am very pleased with everything about her visit... the tech Kristin was so sweet and knowledgeable, Dr. DeJesus called right after her exam and informed me of the problem. So I updated a few shots got a prescription for her pain and the cost was lower then it would have been to just be seen where she had been going in the past. brought my dog in yesterday as an emergency. she was bleeding profusely from her rectum. Staff said not able to go in because 'all the doctors had patients in the rooms'...I'm my decades ow owning pets, when an emergency comes in, the Dr's excuse themselves from whomever they are checking on. weather it's human or animal. skipping to the end. staff brought out with dried blood all over her legs. didn't even bother to clean her up. there was blood on her back leaking out. staff said it was from subcutaneous shot. well....I as... read more

My sweet boy has been seeing Dr. Longo and her staff for about 5 months now. They go above and beyond every visit! My sweet boy got neutered yesterday and Dr. Longo called me before and after the procedure and made me feel so comfortable. I called several times to check on him because that’s my baby and I kept apologizing and her staff always told me that I was more then welcome to call anytime! Bay Ridge have given great care to our animals for over 20 years. This week Beatrice our English bulldog had her annual visit. Bulldogs can often have health issues. Dr. Longo and team have given great care and I was so happy to hear what good health Beatrice has!

I brought my sweet new puppy in for a check up last week. He saw Dr. Longo and she was AMAZING! Since we aren’t allowed in due to this crazy pandemic, she called me over the phone and gave me lots of good advice about potty training and was completely honest with what he needed and what he didn’t. You can tell she truly cares about her patients! I felt very comfortable bringing my puppy here.
My dogs have been patients for over twenty years, they are GREAT!
